ResearchInterests: I am working in the area of equine genomics, marker-assisted selection and parentage verification, population genetics in Indian horses and bovines. My expertise includes those in reproductive biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, recombinant protein production, proteomics, bioinformatics and computational biology and in silico pharmacology. My recent works have helped in identification, characterization, conservation and documentation of indigenous horses, donkeys and other equine breeds. My noteworthy works for recombinant proteins include those of cattle recombinant inhibin alpha and equine chorionic gonadotropins. My research also includes studies on characterization and applications of Donkey milk and development of Agri- entrepreneurship.
