Area of Research Interests:

Working as PI "Effect of combinations of dry roughage feeding on digestibility and performance of horses (young stocks) in arid region of Rajasthan".

Presently working as Co- PI of 'All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Increased Utilization of Animal Energy with Enhanced System Efficiency' running at Equine Production Campus, Bikaner. Under this main project, we are working on four sub projects as given below:

1. Work stress studies on equines using rotary mode systems

2.  Draughtability studies with work rest cycle for equines under arid conditions

3.Development and evaluation of donkey drawn agricultural implements suitable to arid region of Rajasthan

4. Survey of draught equine population and their utilization in agricultural operations including transport

Education

1. 1995: PhD in Livestock Production & Management, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal (Haryana).

2. 1990: M.sc Livestock Production & Management, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal (Haryana).

     Joined ICAR on 5th August, 1997 as Scientist and promoted to Sr. Scientist on 5th August, 2006.
